"All cats able to see through mist, gather beneath the Fog Tree for a clan meeting!" Greystar yowled. "Today was devastating for FogClan. Deersong, Pearlmoon, Riverpelt, Creekspirit, Weedflicker, Spottedfur, Sootpath, and Creamsong died. But they will be worshiped in StarClan." Greystar paused and looked up at the gathering darkness, then faced his clan again.
"Also, some apprentices need to be made warriors. Tinypaw and Smallpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, to defend and protect your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
"I do." Tinypaw meowed, her eyes wid.
"I do." Smallpaw agreed.
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names. From this moment on, you shall be known as Tinywing and Smallcloud." Greystar purred and watched the newly named warrior bounce around for a while.
"Also, Rose and Colt, are you prepared to enter clan life?"
"I am." Rose stepped forward, her kits tumbling around her feet.
"I am." Colt matched her footsteps perfectly.
"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From this moment on, you shall be known as Roseclaw and, Colt, you decided to keep your name, and I accept your request. Your kits will be known as Autumnkit, Winterkit, Springkit, and Summerkit."
Roseclaw and Colt nodded and padded back.
"That is all. Meeting dismissed!"

Roseclaw padded up to Colt. "I've been thinking," she began. "and I've decided to let you go."
"What?" Colt's eyes widened. "Let me go? Go where?"
"Let you go free." Roseclaw replied. "I know you don't love me anymore, so I think you deserve to be set free."
"No, I mean..." Colt shook his head. "How did you know?"
"I'm not just some dumb old she-cat." Roseclaw meowed knowingly. "I'm smarter then you think. I see the way you are around Stillshine. When you think I'm not looking, you're kind to her. And you deliberatly ignore her when I'm around."
"I'm sorry." Colt looked at his paws. "I tried to be a good father and mate, but I guess I'm not really cut out for fathering."
"But you are." Roseclaw raised Colt's head with her tail. "You will be an amazing father to Colt, I just know it." She paused. "I love you."
"And I'll miss being this close to you." Colt replied. He watched as Roseclaw padded away to her kits.
